CAREER : PRODUCTION OPERATIVE VACANCY

Metalysis is currently recruiting for enthusiastic, passionate, and driven individuals to be involved in a unique opportunity, operating our Pilot and Production scale metal powder production units.

Your role will include the running and maintenance of equipment to operating parameters set by the process owners, for the manufacture of specialised metal powders and alloys, including associated up and downstream activities.
You will work to strict guidelines, following set procedures/methods for the generation and processing of metal powders, within a varied working environment, that involves high temperatures.

As part of the Metalysis team, you will be working closely with our highly skilled scientists and engineers, supporting the upscaling of our novel electrochemical technology, at our Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) facility in Catcliffe (Rotherham), and/or operating the production units at the Wath-upon-Dearne (Rotherham) facility.

This is a permanent position running on a rotating shift pattern (a combination of days/afternoons/nights), working a 42-hour week. The role requires complete flexibility, as the successful candidate may be required to attend site at short notice to cover for unplanned absences. This is an expanding team; therefore, we are hoping to attract individuals who aspire to progress within our organisation.

To apply for this role, you should have experience of working with heavy and specialised equipment, be proficient using hand tools and machinery, possess basic IT Skills (Outlook, Word & Excel), in relation to recording data.
